Every mailing includes:

When do mailings ship?
Mailings are shipped by the 10th of each month.
What are The Road Trip and The Journey?
Each month’s letter is divided into two parts.
The Road Trip shares the story behind the month's artwork—where it was created, what inspired it, and the memories connected to it.
The Journey is more personal. It's a reflection on creativity, small-town life, finding beauty in ordinary places, and the experiences that shape us along the way.
Is the artwork original?
Yes. Every art print features original artwork inspired by Route 66 and the places and musings encountered along the way.
Do memberships renew automatically?
Yes. Monthly, annual, and international memberships are recurring subscriptions and renew automatically until cancelled.
How do I cancel my membership?
Cancellation requests must be received by email before the 15th of the month preceding your next renewal date.
Annual memberships remain active through the prepaid membership period and may be cancelled before the next annual renewal.
Do gift memberships renew automatically?
No. Gift memberships are prepaid and do not renew automatically.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International memberships are available for subscribers outside the United States.
Can I send a membership as a gift?
Absolutely. We offer 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month gift memberships.
What if my address changes?
Simply email me at db@motherroadmailroom.com and I'll update your mailing address.
What if my mailing doesn't arrive?
Send me an email and I'll do my best to help track it down or replace it when appropriate.
Will every mailing be about Route 66?
For the first year, all artwork and stories will be inspired by places, people, and experiences along Route 66. Over time, the mailbox may occasionally wander, but a sense of place and noticing the world around us will always remain at the heart of Mother Road Mailroom.
Is this a subscription box?
Not exactly. Mother Road Mailroom is a monthly snail mail club built around original artwork, personal stories, and creative surprises. Think of it as a letter from Route 66 rather than a traditional subscription box.
